Prevailing Westerly

Gallery Wrap - Limited Edition of 150 - Original Available.

Artist Note: The original reference for “Prevailing Westerly” is a tame Buffalo named Katodin that lives in Grayling Michigan. She has been morphed into her wild counter part. The symbol in the upper left hand side is a a Sioux Indian symbol for the four directions of the wind. A buffalo skull was used in Sioux ceremonies to represent the essence of life. I have always admired the strong and powerful shapes buffalos out west seem to possess.
