Kim Diment Award of Excellence 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016
The SAA awards Kim Diment her fourth Award of Excellence
Founded in 1960, the Society of Animal Artists is the world's premier organization for animal artists and is devoted to promoting excellence in the artistic portrayal of the creatures sharing our planet, and to the education of the public through art exhibitions, informative seminars, lectures and teaching demonstrations.
The highest honor presented by the Society of Animal Artists is the “Award of Excellence”. It is awarded to those pieces judged to represent the highest standards of artistic excellence and no more than eight artists are selected for this honor each year. Work is selected on the following criteria: A. Creativity B. Design/Composition C. Demonstrated Mastery of Medium. In 2016 Kim Diment has once again been selected for this honor with her painting “The Drifters”, a group of Sandhill Cranes flying past an old fashioned windmill.
Kim is a signature member of the Society of Animal Artists and this is her fourth “Award of Excellence”, each of which is shown below..
