Artist note: Bandit is a barn cat that happened to wander by during a photo shoot I was doing of a young calf. She was only there for a short time as she had kitten’s to attend to in the hay loft. I noticed the pattern on her back very much resembled that of a Parisian Mademoiselle or that of a fashionable witch. I exaggerated the features of the women a little to give my painting a title.
