The Trapper's Cabin

The Trapper’s Cabin was photographed in December, 2012 at Wolverine Camps, Wolverine Michigan. I was working at the camp as the staff photographer for Author Quest, Johnathan Rand’s Writers Camp for 10 to 13 year old authors. One of the outdoor activities was to hike on a trail through the woods to a tubing hill. Alone the way we passed this old trapper’s cabin nestled between the trees and under the snow. The cabin literally stopped me in my tracks, demanding to be photographed. It turned out to be one of my favorite winter scenes.
